Dredging
and reclamation of 620,000 m3 of sand/calcarenite up to -8.0m
HSD and construction of a 500m long tied back sheet piled quay
wall, demolition of a coast guard existing jetty, removal of
existing rock revetment. Construction of the quay wall included
the supply and fixing of associated quay furniture (bollards,
fenders, mooring rings, hand grids stainless steel ladders &
navigation buoys etc.)
This
project involves the construction & commissioning of a quay
wall & jetty inside Port Khalid, Sharjah for MIS, Sharjah
along with Demolition of the existing coast guard jetty. The
project site is within the jurisdiction of the Sharjah Port
Authority and the entire works are carried out according to
their requirement. NSCC has been awarded the project based on
the alternate proposal submitted by us by doing value engineering,
done by the in-house design department, on the conforming design.
The
job was completed on time and within budget.
